 Here are some events and activities you may want to support to help save our dear planet Earth:
1. Save the Trees! Make it a habit to bring your personal tumbler/mug every time you buy a drink from Starbucks to help reduce the use of paper/plastic cups. One cup at a time can go a long way.
2. Eangoy -- a one-mile Swim-For-A-Cause in Boracay, from Caticlan Jetty Port all the way to Station 3 along the shoreline fronting the One MGM Resort. The event will help increase awareness on the need to preserve the marine resources of this unique island which is being hampered by the tourism business. Deadline for registration is on April 20. Why fireflies? Because the presence of fireflies signify that the air is clean. 4. KKK: A Music and Art Festival at Riverbanks Center, Marikina City, which will include performance poetry, art installations, art competition, story-telling, concert for a cause, anda Panata Para Sa Kalikasan. 5. Go Organic! Visit the Cordillera Coffee at Riverbanks Center, Marikina Center on April 16 from 7:30am onwards. Try some organic coffee and vegetables -- certified organic by the Department of Agriculture. Coffee is 100% Arabica from Atok, Benguet, grown organically by the Coffee AID farmers.

7. 1st GenSan Recyclable Waste Fair - April 22, Gaisano Mall of General Santos City. Segregate and recycle your wastes for additional income! Prices will be posted at the venue. Bring in those old PCs and appliances, and earn! One day only!
