for everyone
Cocktails! I don't exactly know why I have a penchant for these drinks but they have always thrilled and enchanted me. In fact, one of the books I have in my *collection* is Cocktails Pocket Reference Book by Linda Doeser. It was given to me as a gift some years ago, and this little book will surely have a space in my private bar.

One favorite drink is the Tequila Sunrise, "this is one cocktail you shouldn't rush when making. otherwise you will spoil the attractive sunrise effect as the grenadine slowly spread through the orange juice".

For a single, you need 4-6 cracked ice cubes, 2 parts white tequila, orange juice to top up, and 1 measure grenadine. First, put the  cracked ice cubes into a chilled tumbler. Pour the tequila over the ice and top up with the orange juice. Stir well to mix. Then, slowly pour in the grenadine and serve with a straw.

A Highball is traditionally used to serve this cocktail, but you can definitely let your creativity rule as to what kind of glass you want.

And as you enjoy your drink, why not wait for the real sunrise? Ahh, another activity I so enjoy -- catching the sunrise. I remember driving along North Expressway with my family and just watching in awe as the sky magnificently changed its color from dusk to dawn. I was speechless, for there were no words to describe such beauty -- all I could do was marvel at something no human can create.

And to that, I say, cheers!
